Punta Cana is the name people use for the whole region. On this site it means the original resort and village side, south of the busier Bávaro shore and next to the airport.
Streets are planned, lots are larger, and evenings are quieter. Inventory is thinner than in Bávaro. You are often buying into a community with its own rules.
